How do you select worship music for more than 5,000 people who have widely diverse musical preferences?

Months before the 2008 Together for the Gospel conference, Mark Dever (senior pastor of Captial Hill Baptist Church and head of 9Marks) and Bob Kauflin (director of worship development for Sovereign Grace Ministries) worked together to do just that.

Their goal was to come up with a variety of hymns - old and new, familiar and unfamiliar - that would lead us to pour out our hearts to God in loud, theologically rich, Christ-exalting songs.

Their hope was that musical differences would fade as we focused on the glory of God in Christ.
